To form an instant connection between driver and car, we created the Dual Zone driver’s environment. Cruise control, audio, driver information and voice recognition Satellite Navigation* are all in your peripheral vision – so you can keep your attention on the road.

Performance With the Civic, we pushed our world leading engine technology to the limit and produced three powerful, economic and refined options:
A new generation 1.8 i–VTEC engine.
With electronically controlled intelligent valve timing, it’s like two engines in one. This means it delivers a performance equivalent to a powerful 2.0 and better fuel efficiency than a 1.6 engine.
i–CTDi — a lightweight 2.2 litre turbo diesel engine.

And it was put through its paces around the world, from the searing heat of the desert to the freezing wastes of the Arctic.Front and rear crumple zones absorb the force of an impact, giving extra protection for both car and passenger. During acceleration, cornering and collision–avoidance manoeuvres, Vehicle Stability Assist is there to help you maintain control. And it comes as standard, along with multiple airbags, the Anti–lock Braking System and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution.
