The All new Mitsubishi Shogun

Mitsubishi’s latest version of the popular Shogun highlights their full potential to manufacture a car that is suitable for all driving conditions. Since its debut back in 1982 and four generations later, nearly 105,000 Shoguns have been sold in the UK. The new Shogun will be the fifth generation of the popular 4x4 and will be available in four different versions, three of which have different names. The current Shogun Equippe is being replaced by the SG2, the Elegance model will be replaced by the SG3, the Diamond model will be replaced by the SG4 and the Warrior name will remain.

The new Mitsubishi Shogun, will have a range of new features, improving on the ‘bold’ and ‘solid’ image that the car has. Some of the enhancements to the design of the Shogun include:

·         A colour-coded front bumper

·         A new design front skid plate

·         18 inch alloy wheels and roof bars as standard.

·         A choice of five colours: diamond black, frost white, graphite brown, orient red and cool silver.

There are also new items that have been introduced to the latest generation Shogun including:

·         A range of re-designed interiors with new cloth and leather upholsteries

·         A brushed silver finish to interior components such as the window switches and control panels.

·         Automatic headlights and wipers as standard on the SG3 and SG4.

·         Mitsubishi’s new brake override system which operates in the event of the driver accidently pressing the accelerator and brake pedal at the same time. This new system tells the car to safely brake

Every new Shogun comes with a 3-year/unlimited mileage warranty and a roadside assistance package as standard.
