Motown sits at the heart of the Phoenix operation on its giant site at Linwood. It would be too easy, simple and straightforward to state that Motown is the Phoenix Car Company’s used car operation. In essence, it is far more than that.

What sets Motown apart from others is that it is a Phoenix franchise for quality pre-owned cars. These are cars which - and this is crucial when anyone compares Motown to other used car sites - haven’t been purchased at auctions, sales, used as rentals, or picked up from fleet operators or rival dealerships.

Instead they are cars that have been traded-in against new-car purchases at the numerous Phoenix dealerships. They are Phoenix cars, previously owned by Phoenix customers. We at Motown know everything about the car, we know who owned it previously: we know the history.

We have strict standards that apply to every car sold by Motown. If the model is from a Japanese manufacturer, it will be no older than four-years-old and have covered no more than 40,000 miles. If it’s a non-Japanese manufacturer, Motown will only sell the car if it is no older than 36 months and has covered less than 30,000 miles. That also ensures the cars are still covered by the balance of the manufacturers’ warranty which, in turn, ensures peace of mind for all Motown customers.
